Based in Dorset, our client is a well-established and impressive provider of a comprehensive range of IT Services.

This new role offers challenge and opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic and intelligent candidate to move from an internal facing role to the dynamic client facing world of new business and account management.

The role will initially be focused on the setting of appointments for yourself and others within the sales team. Once the appointment numbers are high enough and training in Microsoft solution selling achieved, you will own a number of the appointments and accounts, taking ownership over time for the full selling cycle.

The successful candidate will be offered full mentoring during this transition to a New Business sales person.

Potential candidates will have some telemarketing and Microsoft or other IT experience; this will be a grounding to help take you forward into the demanding and rewarding world of targeted New Business sales.

Essential

•   Proven & credible history of appointment setting 
•   IT selling background
•   Goal oriented mindset
•   Team skills
•   Good verbal and written skills
•   Customer service knowledge

 

Desirable

•   Microsoft Solutions/Product knowledge – any of Windows Server, Virtualisation, Azure, Office 365
•   Account management knowledge
•   Existing customer ownership experience
•   Negotiation skills

Salary on offer is £20-25k basic (OTE £30k plus) and is based in Dorset, UK.
