Our client is a global market leader in the manufacture of mechanical systems and precision formed components. They have 70 sales offices across the globe and employ over 8000 people.  The company operates a dynamic work environment and offers an outstanding service to all its’ customers across many diverse industries.

As a result of some restructuring they have created a new position as European Quality Manager to take responsibility for Quality programmes across six manufacturing sites across Europe. The position would be based in the Company’s French manufacturing site in South East France. Due to the international aspect of the role across six European countries, the role would also suit a non- French national who is happy to live and work from a French base.


  • Oversee Quality, Environment and Safety at European Sites.
  • Performing internal audits, participating in external audits as appropriate.
  • Assure, that the internal process control is in accordance with the requirements of ETA and the relevant standards.
  • Detection, investigation and assessment of QES weak points and implementation of corrective actions
  • Promote Quality department involvement in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 8D and Kaizen
  • Perform QES reviews with SWOT and open points list
  • Set up necessary QES training
  • Involvement in implementation of standardised QES software across European sites
  • Specific responsibility for Environmental programmes at the French production plant



  • Strong Quality Management experience within a Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing environment. e.g. Automotive or Aerospace Industries
  • Experience working for a large manufacturer
  • Experience dealing with environmental issues
  • Good level of experience dealing with Health and Safety
  • Very strong language skills in both English and French


The position will attract a salary of 50-70K Euros.
